Zeyt Falasteen - Palestinian Heritage Olive Oil

    Palestinian Heritage Olive Oil

A story deeper than grief, rooted in hope, heritage and identity.
Giving Palestinian olive trees new roots in Europe.

    THE
    PROJECT

The story of Palestine is often told through loss. As part of the displaced diaspora, we want to create a story deeper than grief, one rooted in hope, continuity and resilience.

Zeyt Falasteen transforms this narrative by conserving Palestinian olive tree varieties like Nabali, Souri, and Rumi and giving them new roots in Europe. These ancient trees carry not just genetic heritage, but stories, flavors, and symbols woven into Palestinian identity for millennia.

This 100% non-profit initiative seeks to preserve living history while building bridges between cultures through the universal symbol of the olive tree, an icon of peace shared across faiths and civilizations.

    A Bridge Between Cultures

The olive tree is more than agriculture. It's a sacred symbol shared across faiths and civilizations. From Palestine to Andalusia, these ancient trees carry stories of peace, resilience, and cultural continuity.

    A Sacred Symbol Across Faiths

The olive tree holds profound meaning in Christianity, Islam, and Judaism alike. It represents peace, blessing, and divine connection, a universal language of hope that transcends borders and beliefs.

    Palestine to Andalusia

For centuries, olive cultivation has connected the eastern and western Mediterranean. By bringing Palestinian varieties to southern Europe, we honor this ancient exchange and create living links between cultures.

    Educational Legacy

We envision exhibitions and educational programs that trace the olive's journey from Palestine to Europe, celebrating shared agricultural heritage and fostering intercultural understanding through food and tradition.

    Stories in Every Drop

Each bottle of Zeyt Falasteen olive oil carries millennia of Palestinian heritage: flavors, traditions, and agricultural wisdom passed down through generations, now preserved in European soil.

"The olive tree is a symbol of peace and resilience. By preserving Palestinian varieties in new soil, we're not just saving trees—we're nurturing hope and building bridges between cultures through our shared agricultural heritage."
